Sherman Alexie

A few years ago I was in love with this book Reservation Blues. It’s sort of a mystical, coming age story that also address poverty and oppression. Yup, sounds like a Sarah book!

The other night I was lucky enough to get a spur of the moment ticket (thanks Jason!) to see the author, Sherman Alexie, speak. He is a beautiful storyteller. I was brought to laughter and goosebumps in the same story. Amazing!

Although not nearly as good as the real thing, here is a glimpse…  and the second part, watch it all the way to the end… the funniest part is in the last five seconds!
