Afrika Bambaataa in Town

Pete and I hit downtown last night for the Afrika Bambaataa show at Foundation. It was pretty fantastic… just a giant crew of party people dancing and having a good time. Here are some sub-par photos of everybody gettin’ rowdy.

By the way, if you haven’t been to a show at Foundation, you really should check it out. It’s an awesome space, and since its’ recent opening have already brought some amazing headliners to Minneapolis (QBert, Cut Chemist, Lyrics Born). The washed-out photos below don’t really show it, but its’ dark-lit, lounge-style approach is really comfy. Drinks are affordable compared to many places, around $5-7.
